Today’s chaotic marketplace requires a certain approach that can best be described as chaotic itself. Digital marketing can be particularly difficult for small to medium sized companies with limited in-house resources. In many cases it is simply not practical or cost effective to employ a full time marketing department head.
After seeking employment as a digital marketing manager in the UK, CEO of Chaotic Marketing, Mark Knowles, realised this fact. During multiple interviews with small to medium sized businesses seeking to employ a head of digital marketing, it became apparent that they simply did not have the budget to do so. Nor did they have the budget to provide the resources needed to implement a full time campaign, and in most cases, did not actually know what they were looking for.
CM was born from this realisation and the knowledge that a far more practical way for a small to medium sized company to approach their marketing, was to bring in an outside small business marketing consultant capable of advising, and if necessary implementing the campaign on an as-needed basis according to the company’s budget and goals.
